DOWNLOAD | Mission – Single – Lupe Fiasco
It’s been a while since we’ve heard anything from Lupe Fiasco (with the exception of that song with Ed Sheeran) but we have a brand new track from Lupe titled “Mission”. The single is taken from Lupe Fiasco’s forthcoming album “Testuo and Youth” which is expected to be released later this year. Lupe Fiasco steers the content of the song towards cancer, and the start is a tribute to those who have survived. Lupe Fiasco endorses http://www.standup2cancer.org and plenty of other collaborations are to be planned as we progress through 2014. You can watch Lupe Fiasco – Mission on the YouTube player below.
After releasing the hit single “It’s On Me”, Chicago Hip-Hop artist Precise has spoken exclusively to Hip-Hop Kings in a brand new interview. We speak with Precise about the single, his earlier moves in his music career, and of course his plans for the rest of the year. Precise also speaks about the Chicago Hip-Hop scene and who his major influences are which include Common and Capadonna (who he’s also worked with). Look out for more Precise music coming as we lead through 2012, however you can watch the new interview with Chicago Hip-Hop artist Precise on the youtube player below.
A line of artists have jumped on the Trae Tha Truth single “Im On It” which welcomes the artist to Hip-Hop Kings making his debut in 2012. The featured artists need no such introduction, with fans who have been lucky enough to hear the track originally the video has been eagerly awaited for the best part of a year. Using a “Return of the Mack” sample for the chrous, over 100 pages on youtube have been spent by fans comparing which artist delivered the best verse. To end 2011 on a massive high, we have a leaked track from Lupe Fiasco titled “American Terrorist III” which has been made as a free download to Hip-Hop Kings fans. Lupe Fiasco is still promoting his latest album “Lasers” (download link above), and with a number of high profile T.V appearances and public remarks, Lupe Fiasco has solidified himself as one of the most respected, and spoken about Hip-Hop artists in todays genre. Following the release of U.K Hip-Hop artist Sway‘s track “Still Speedin”, I have a brand new remix which features Hip-Hop heavyweight Lupe Fiasco. Sway has previously announced a collaboration with a big U.S artist, and has already teamed up with Kano for a remix of the track (check the related links). Sway is working hard for promotion leading up to the album “The Deliverance” which will be available in 2012, however Sway ft Lupe Fiasco – Still Speedin Reloaded will be available to download from 4th December 2011. It’s probable that “The Deliverance” will be Sway‘s biggest commercial release ever, and to kick off the promotion we now have the official video for his single “Still Speedin”. Hip-Hop Kings previously posted the lyric video, along with an official remix which featured Kano. Fans are also excited to prepare to hear an International remix with an artist I’m not revealing – but Sway will make sure the track is nothing less than fire. Lupe Fiasco has hit worldwide headlines after labelling President Obama “the biggestt terrorist”.
“To me, the biggest terrorist is Obama in the United States of America,” he said in an interview with CBS News’ “What’s Trending.” “For me, I’m trying to fight the terrorism that’s actually causing the other forms of terrorism. The root cause of terrorism is the stuff that the U.S. government allows to happen, the foreign policies that we have in place in different countries that inspire people to become terrorists. And it’s easy for us, because it’s really just some oil that we can really get on our own.”
The Chicago rapper also explained that he isn’t a part of the political process in any way, despite addressing the many issues.
He continued, “I don’t vote. I don’t get involved in politics. Because it’s meaningless, to be honest. First of all, I’m a real big believer if I’m going to vouch for someone, I’m going to stand behind everything they do. If I’m going to say I stand behind this person and write on a piece of paper that says I stand for this person, then I have to take responsibility for everything that he does. Because that’s just how I am as a human being. Politicians aren’t going to do that, because I don’t want you to bomb some village in the middle of nowhere.”
Recently Lupe also released this statement after the apparent death of terrorist Osama Bin Laden, he said, “Osama Dead!?! Afghan Operation done now??? Now kill poverty, wack schools, and US imperialism…”
This is a brand new track from U.K Hip-Hop heavyweight Mystro, which is a remake of Lupe Fiasco’s “Beamin” instrumental called “Dreamin”. Mystro explained that a few personal issues have resulted in “Dreamin” being created, and the lyrics suggest Mystro is reflecting on the events which most Hip-Hop fans can relate to. There will be a brand new project called “Mystrogen” available to fans later in the year, and I fully expect to hear a lot more news and music ahead of the release. You can listen to Mystro – Dreamin on the audio player below.
