Both battlers have been ever-present in the league this year, battling around the country before meeting in Manchester earlier this year. Mr 13 debuted last year and has quickly grown whilst maintaining his Bang FM Radio show with DJ Bones, and releasing music. Both artists made their debut in 2011, and this was their first official debut battle. A combination of nine West London based artists have come together for a brand new E.P titled “Red Tape”. The collection of artists which include Locksmiths, Mr 13 and Wordplay rap over ten tracks which is a project for the community and Hip-Hop fans nationwide. U.K Hip-Hop veterens Mystro and Nutty P are also featured along with producers 7th Dan and aspiring artist “Son of a Queen”. Lastly BANG Radio’s DJ Bones has been credited with the mix to ensure perfect transition between tracks.
