Kidz In The Hall Prepare New Album Land Of Make Believe [Upcoming Releases]

• January 29, 2010 • Comments (3)
Naledge and Double-O have released news about a brand new 2010 album called “Land Of Make Believe” which will be available from March 9th 2010. Entirely produced by Double-O, the album will feature Just Blaze, The Kid Daytona and MC Lyte amongst others. Naledge has described the project as “the moment we have worked for has come to a crossroad.  We strive for success in this music industry, but we have never taken time to look ourselves in the mirror and analyze what this industry has made us. As a lyricist, I used this album to serve as a soundtrack to my aspirations and to my downfalls, but also as a chance to evaluate who I am as a man compared to whom I envisioned myself to be.” The first single Flickin is available through iTunes, and Jukebox is also in rotation. You can view the tracklisting and artwork for the Kidz In The Hall – Land Of Make Believe below.

DOOM – Unexpected Guests [Upcoming Releases]

• September 22, 2009 • Comments (7)

This is an album release i’m very excited about. Underground phenomenon DOOM is one of the most original and unique voices in Hip-Hop, and his new album “Unexpected Guests” has a release date of 27th October 2009. Released through the label Gold Dust, DOOM has teamed up with a series of A-star producers and rappers including Jake One, Vast Aire, Talib Kweli and GZA amongst others.

His work started in the early 90’s with the seminal KMD, to release legend-status projects under the alias’ MF DOOM, Madvillain, King Geedorah, Viktor Vaughn, and of course the work with Dangermouse on “Dangerdoom”. His trademark mask has always identified him as an artistic, and mysterious artist, and that status has always been reflected in his music as well. DOOM has a huge list of guest appearances on both the microphone and production as well.

Hip-Hop Kings will be reporting any updates on the release, including tracklisting, artwork, singles, and promotional material. Make sure you log back in for updates in the near future. DOOM’s album “Unexpected Guests” will be released on 27th October 2009.
