I’m proud to be assosiated with Nefew, who have once again released a brilliant video for their track “One Verse Part III”. I’ve been passed information that Nefew will be shortly releasing a new project called “Man Vs Many” with DJ Green Lantern next month, which will also feature the likes of Nottz and Dwele. Nottz recruits West Coast legend Snoop Dogg and Slaugherhouse general Royce Da 5’9″ for the track “Never Caught Slippin“. The song is from the upcoming album “You Need This Music” which is released on the 19th October.
As the October 26th release date for Nottz‘ debut release, You Need This Music, nears, a steady stream of music continues to be released from the album to hold fans over until its arrival. Following Nottz‘ most recent single with Asher Roth and Colin Munroe, for which fans can expect a video to drop sooner rather than later, Nottz’ latest single, “The Cycle” features a guest verse from Brooklyn’s finest, Joell Ortiz. Soulful piano chops atop Nottz’ signature drums and bass set the mood for the story-telling track, with Nottz and Joell trading verses on the trials and tribulations of the revolving cycle of America’s prison system and those caught up in it.Nottz - The Cycle Feat. Shine So Brite received thousands of downloads, and the video has now been distributed via the Internet. I’ll have as much information as possible on “You Need This Music” when it becomes available. Nottz is usually a name you see on the production credits alongside some of Hip-Hop’s biggest stars. Until today, little did I know that Nottz is putting the final touches on his debut solo album which is titled “You Need This Music”. Nottz has previously produced for the likes of Busta Rhymes, J-Dilla, Drake and M.O.P just to name a few. Shine So Brite is the first official leak off the album. And will set the bar high for the remainder of the promotion. You can listen to Nottz – Shine So Brite on the player below.
