We heard a new single from Redman earlier this month, and now we have a brand new video from Redman and Method Man for the single “I Used to Be”. Redman and Method Man have teamed up with GOH for the single, with the video which was released via the official Milk & Sugar YouTube channel. Redman has also announced that he’ll be releasing the third installment of the “Blackout” series with Method Man, and is planning a sequel to his classic Muddy Waters which we can expect this year. Brick City and Hip-Hop legend Redman releases the new video for his single “Nigga Whut”. Credits go to Triple A who produced the track, and the video was directed by Redman and RomeYork. It has also been announced that fans can pre-order the Redman – Muddy Waters II “Thee Mixtape” from the official Redman website (link above) which also comes with a VIP package option. Redman will be touring with Method Man around Europe, and will also be one of the headliner acts at the Crotia-based “Fresh Island Festival” which will also see the likes of Rick Ross, DMX and Pusha T performing – hit the link above for tickets. Every single Hip-Hop fan should be familiar with the infamous Method Man and Redman single “How High” which is labelled a classic which stands the test of time. Configa has delivered a brilliant remix of the single, incorporating video footage from the official How High movie, and of course footage from the original music video as well. Configa was previously credited for creating “Pac to the Essence Vol 1″ which was widely regarded as one of the best 2pac tributes prior to his death. You can buy that album (link and picture above). To celebrate DJ 279’s Anniversary Party, Flava of the Month is hosting two of the biggest Hip-Hop stars (Redman and Method Man) at the HMV Forum at Kentish Town on 7th November. U.K rapper Mystro will be hosting the evening, and the duo responsible for the classic Blackout 1 and 2 albums will be blessing the London crowd with old and new material. Flava of the Month has been credited with showcasing the likes of Dead Prez, Blak Twang and Cutmaster Swift in previous years. I couldn’t have predicted this one. Method Man, Redman and Ghostface have announced the news that a collaborative album which is currently untitled and will be released on December 22nd. Distribution is so far unconfirmed, along with production and guest appearances. The new album has a promotional video (part 1 of 3) which is influenced by the movie Seven which was directed by Rik Cordero. News came at a bigger surprise as Ghostface has just released his latest album “Ghostdini : The Wizard of Emerald Ctiy”, and Redman announced news about a new solo album “Reggie Noble 9 1/2″ You can watch the Method Man x Redman x Ghostface – New album video trailer on the player below.

Redman is incredibly popular when people mention early 90’s Hip-Hop, which is strange because the younger generation primarily remember him for the work on Blackout 1 and Blackout 2, alongside the hit singles “Smash Sumthin'” and “Lets Get Dirty”. Even saying those two singles brings back a lot of memories. However, we have news that Reggie Noble is releasing a new album called “Reggie Noble 9 1/2″ in December 2009. Portray the title as you will, but we will be following the campaign leading up to the release. Following the release of their highly anticipated “Blackout 2″ album, Method Man and Redman were performing the single “City Lights” in San Francisco to a packed-out crowd. Blackout 2 has reportedly sold over 65,000 units since it’s released, and finds Meth and Red reunite following successful releases such as Blackout, and How High.
