DOWNLOAD | Hunger Pains 2 – Rewd Adams
This is the brand new video for Rewd Adams and Rinse’s collaborative single “Hair of the Dog”. Taken from the recently released “Hunger Pains Pt 2” project, Rewd Adams and Rinse have shot the full video on an iPhone, and the video comes with a “drink responsibly” warning (like anybody pays attention to that). Producer credits go to LDN and Aiden Cochrane aka Scribbler for the footage, which was uploaded to SBTV’s YouTube Channel. UK Hip-Hop artist Rewd Adams will be celebrating the release of his upcoming mixtape “Hunger Pains 2” with a mixtape launch party at Art Fix. Blatantly Blunt in conjunction with Chop Shop will also feature performances from Parallax, Kayo Ken (Kings of the City), Kid Bookie, DJ 210 and DJ Philly, and the event will be FREE on Friday 27th March. Very happy to see the return of Rewd Adams to Hip-Hop Kings with his new single “Gone”. I’ve been informed that Gone is taken from Rewd Adams’ forthcoming mixtape which we will hear later in 2014, and is a joint project with DJ MK (Kiss FM, Dizzie Rascal DJ). July 2nd 2012 marks the release of Rewd Adams and The Last Skeptik’s album “How Not to Make a Living”, and the upcoming album is now available for pre-order from the link listed above. The twelve track album is priced at £6.99 and is twelve tracks strong, with features from DJ Mr Thing, Mai Khalil, and a UK monster of a track with Stylah, Little Dee, Awate and Ramson Badbonez. Rewd Adams was interviewed previously on Hip-Hop Kings following the release of “Rewd Awakening” which was highly regarded as one of the best releases of 2011. I’m excited to share news that Rewd Adams is back, and he’s called upon The Last Skeptik and DJ Mr Thing for the video for his single “Bring It Back”. Rewd Adams will be releasing Bring It Back on May 7th 2012, and credits go to RoadSound for filming and editing the video. Fans of Hip-Hop Kings will be familiar with Rewd Adams from the album “Rewd Awakening” that we heavily supported towards the end of 2010 / beginning of 2011. 2011 is a milestone year, not just for the competition, but yet again the DMC World DJ Championships boundary pushing will signal change in the wider world of technology. In its 27th successful year, DMC has brought together the globes brightest DJ talents, vetted by a series of gruelling heats from London to Tokyo to Brazil. On 14th July 2011, The X-Ecutioners will be performing alongside Rewd Adams and The Last Skeptik, with a show hosted and performed by Inja. It’s not often we get such a massive lineup of U.K Hip-Hop artist in the North of England, however The Human Shield is proud to present a charity event for Palestine called “Real Talk”. I reviewed Rewd Awakening and still stand by the opinion it was one of the top three U.K Hip-Hop albums that have been released in the last six months. I speak to Rewd Adams about his personal favourite tracks on the album, his musical direction in 2011, and of course the challenges of changing his name from Skandal to Rewd Adams.
