Rhymefest – Give It To Me [Video]
Ahead of Rhymfest‘s upcoming album “El Che” we have the brand new video from the Chicago rapper for the single “Give It To Me”. The video has been directed by Konee Rok, and the track was produced by Scram Jones. Rhymefest‘s album El Che has been pushed back to a new release date of 8th June 2010, and features Saigon and plenty of other high-profile artists. Rhymefest x John Mayer – Letter [Video]
Court Dunn is a name who you may be familiar with because of his work with NahRight.Com. Court Dunn has now released a new music video for Rhymefest with his joint single with John Mayer for the track “Letter”. The video was released a part of his “One Shot” music video series with Nah Right, and will continue promotion for Rhymefest following the mixtape Dangerous 5:18. Rhymefest – Familiar Faces [Music]
In anticipation of Rhymefest‘s upcoming album “El Che”, the conscious rapper will be releasing a pre-LP titled “Dangerous 5-18″ on Monday 5th April 2010. Regular viewers will have heard Rhymefest‘s track “Letter” which I hosted on Hip-Hop Kings last week, and I have the second official leak from the mixtape titled Familiar Faces. Rhymefest – Letter [Music]
Rhymefest will be releasing his “Pre-LP” mixtape titled Dangerous 5-18 on April 1st 2010 ahead of the album release of El Che. Rhymefest has leaked the single “Letter” from the mixtape which is also having a video directed to aid the promotion leading upto Dangerous 5-18. Rhymefest addressed fans and is quoted saying “This song (“Letter”) was recorded for the “El Che” album while I was still on Allido Records with live vocals from John Mayer.” If the fans really dig the record, I will release a follow-up statement addressing the Wale situation (how he came about recording his version of “Letter”) in the immediate future.” You can listen to Rhymefest – Letter on the player below.

Rhymefest x Just Blaze Studio Session [Video]
During the recording process of Rhymefest‘s upcoming album El Che, the Hip-Hop star was filmed in New York’s legendary Baseline Studios with the very popular producer Just Blaze. Problems arise when Rhymefest has unexplained troubles in the recording booth, but like all great lyricists, manages to overcome the difficulties and deliver a professional verse in the end. Following on from the great music that’s being produced for the “Closed Sessions Volume One” mixtape, Rhymefest and Skyzoo have collaborated for the newest single “Crack The Code”. Produced by K-Salaam and Beatnik, the Closed Sessions Volume One mixtape will be released on the 2nd March 2010, and DJ RTC has praised Skyzoo and his music prior to the mixtape. Rhymefest Announces Release Date For El Che [Upcoming Releases]
I received word today that Rhymefest has officially set a release date for his upcoming sophomore album “El Che”. Available from 18th May 2010, Rhymefest is currently working at SoundScape Studios with Michael Kolar for El Che, and the news was initially leaked through his Twitter account. El Che will not be released through J Records after problems with the label, however Rhymefest has been working hard self-promoting the album release through UStream which is a great outlet for artists.
