Glass and a Half Full Productions, the people behind Gorilla, Airport Trucks and Eyebrows, has launched Glass and a Half Full Records to bring some musical magic to Cadbury Dairy Milk’s Fairtrade launch. The new record label has collaborated with Ghana’s hottest music superstar, Tinny and the UK’s number one rapper, Sway to produce a track and music video called Zingolo, meaning ‘it’s all good’ to Ghanaian people. Sway x 2face Idibia – My Kind of Girl [Video]
Ghanaian and Nigerian MOBO Award winning stars Sway and 2face Idibia team up for an international banger in the form of “My Kind of Girl”. In this video which is produced by Antonie Dixon-Bellot, Sway expresses his love for his beautiful African girlfriend, dispite her parent’s stereotypical disapproval of him as a “rapper”. Jay Z – Blueprint 3 – Empire State of Mind [News]
U.K rapper Sway called into DJ Mo-K‘s radio show “Speakerboxx” and informed listeners about a beat that was given to him for a collaborative track he was intending to use. Blueprint 3 has a track called “Empire State of Mind” and it appears the beat was initially given to Sway before Jay-Z used the beat for the album.
