This is the latest upload from Don’t Flop for the highly anticipated battle between Copywrite vs Tenchoo which was filmed during the Check Point 3 event in London.
Not much needs to be said to introduce both Copywrite and Tenchoo who are widely regarded as legends in the music and battle rap scene. Copywrite makes his debut battle as himself (check out the Shredder vs Raphael battle) and also his first battle in the UK in Don’t Flop. Tenchoo returns to the stage after a hiatus and a focus on music, for a battle which will remembered and appreciated by the original battle rap fanbase. General consensus is that Tenchoo won the battle fairly easily but it’s a great display from both artists. Copywrite vs Tenchoo will be a battle we remember for a long time.
A few years ago we had the pleasure of being involved with a UK remix of Copywrite’s “God Save the King (Proper English Version)” album which is still available to purchase. The remix album features guest appearances from the likes of Lamarrie Essquire, M9, Genesis Elijah, SAS, Beat Butcha, Endemic, Harry Love, 7th Dan, DJ Sarah Love and Context. Make sure you check out the Copywrite “God Save the King (Proper English Version)” on iTunes. Tenchoo has been working hard promoting the Panic Room 9 which is his latest project. The 8 track album was released on the 9th of May 2016 and was distributed via Starch Records. Make sure you check out both albums and support the artists by downloading the music.

In the prime of the battle era, U.K’s Tenchoo stands tall amongst his peers and opponents and is labelled as one of the most innovative and effective battle rappers in the official Don’t Flop league. The stigmata of “Battle Rappers Not Able To Release Albums” still stands, however Tenchoo chooses not only to challenge that label, but stamp his mark on the music scene with his debut album release “Scary Movie ” via First Son Records.
The U.K battle series “Don’t Flop” recently presented the doubles final which was held in London. Scottish rap battle duo Gasp and Depths travelled down from Scotland, to battle Don’t Flop regulars Tenchoo and Lego. Don’t Flop finals are three rounds of 90 seconds, and with judges voting the winners receive a £250 cash prize, along with beats and Don’t Flop T-Shirts. Look out for a new Don’t Flop “Blood In The Water” event coming soon, and Hip-Hop Kings regular JollyJay making an appearance too.
