Conspiracy Worldwide Radio has teamed up with S&H Public Relations and Hip Hop Wired, two of the largest independent owned players in the industry, to sponsor the 2012 ‘National MC Search’ in order to mine for the underdog.
Judged by veterans emcee’s Torae and Rapper Big Pooh and Kevin Nottingham’s Kareem Fort, the contest will take place on 9th January 2012 and end on 6th Febuary, when 3 finalists will be chosen based on originality, lyrical content and voice. Hip Hop Wired readers will vote for the winner who will be crowned on 20th Febuary.
The winner will recieve a grand prize which will include an appearance in the upcoming Hip Hop film Demo’s, a song on the films soundtrack, an interview on Conspiracy Worldwide Radio’s flagship show The Friday Night Live Show, free publicity worth thousands of dollars and more!

In the era of supergroups (Slaughterhouse, Random Axe etc), a familiar name in Rel!gion reached out to his four favourite MC’s (Ras Kass, Planet Asia, Jasiri X and Torae), and is attempting to create a rap group named “Dangerous Alliance”. The track here is titled “C;assical Music” and Rel!gion sent the instrumental and is quoted “I’m going to try and make it happen” when speaking of a possible formation of the rap group. Classical Music will be featured on Rel!gions forthcoming album “Rel!gious” released through Wandering Worx Music. Released through his own Internal Affairs Entertainment Imprint, Torae has announced he’ll be releasing his debut album “For The Record” on 1st November 2011. Hip-Hop Kings has the official artwork and track listing, which features some major Hip-Hop figureheads including Pete Rock, 9th Wonder, DJ Premier, Nottz and Marco Polo on the production. In the way of guest appearances Torae has teamed up with Wes, Pav Bundy and Mela Machinko on the fifteen track LP. Fellow New York native Masta Ace has gone on file suggesting “The combination of stellar production and a focused and more introspective Torae makes this his best work to date.”.
