In a massive accomplishment for U.K Hip-Hop music, Lowkey has teamed up with the infamous “The Outlawz” for their collaborative track “Da Corner”. The track was uploaded via youtube on July 14th 2011, however this has recently been given a big push as fans await the release of Lowkey‘s forthcoming album “Soundtrack to the Struggle”. What would have been Tupac’s 40th birthday, it featured a performance from Meek Mill and Rick Ross with “Tupac’s Back”. Also his Greatest Hits album has now reached Diamond status on the Billboard charts.
It’s the first time Tupac has ever reached Diamond status with his music, and his Greatest Hits album has become his biggest selling album.
The album featured four previously unreleased tracks, and some re-edited version of previous classics. The album’s single “Changes” earned Tupac his first and only posthumous Grammy Award nomination for Best Rap Solo Performance.
The late Tupac Shakur, Snoop Dogg, Dr. Dre, 50 Cent and Alicia Keys are amongst the artists involved with the highest profile release of 2009 so far. Death Row Records have confirmed the release of “Ultimate Death Row Collection” is preperation for the holiday season. The collection of music is a three-disc edition, and contains sixty tracks and also contains a DVD of popular music videos, unreleased footage, and a limited edition Death Row T-Shirt. The release date is November 24th, and will be available from all good music stores nationwide.
