Nobody needs an introduction to Tricksta, so I’ll let the brand new mixtape “Broken Britain” do the talking. Another free mixtape as part of the longest running mixtape series (UK Runnings) which has a back catalogue I couldn’t imagine counting. Tricksta is the man responsible for the project, and the new mixtape Broken Britain which features artists such as Braydz, LATE, Tabanacle, Cyclonious and Mr Flex amongst many others. The latest offering from UK Runnings is a free download presenting Northampton based rapper and producer Lifescarz, and the title of the mixtape is “Rise of the General”. The twenty five track mixtape includes tracks from some very familiar names including Genesis Elijah, Grit Grammar, LATE and Supar Novar amongst many others. UK Runnings are back once again and to kick off 2011 have released a brand new free download mixtape with H.O.O.D Fellaz called “New Years Resolutions”. H.O.O.D FELLAZ are a Hip-Hop and Grime collective based in Camden, North West London. Their debut release ‘So Far So Hood’ back in 2008 was well received and featured guest appearances from UK Rap legends Skinnyman and Wiley. “New Years Resolution” features collaborations with Big Cakes and other grime artists from the London area. Deeze – The Re Turn [Free Download]
Hip-Hop Kings readers will be familiar with Deeze, as I posted his mixtape “The Pre Turn” in October. Deeze is back with his latest offering “The Re Turn” which has also been made available as a free download. Ten tracks strong, Deeze continues to build his profile, and reviews have been positive from across the board so far. Deeze has announced his third mixtape “The Re-Birth” drops on New Years Day, and will be the completion of his aptly titled “Re” trilogy.
