Evidence – Cats and Dogs DOWNLOAD Link
One of the best Hip-Hop albums of 2011 was Evidence’s “Cats and Dogs”. Released through Rhymesayers Entertainment, the album was commercially Evidence’s best to date, and the hype surrounding the release was typical of an RSE project. Evidence has now released the video for the single “Falling Down” which has been featured on the biggest of Hip-Hop blogs and websites in the last couple of days. Evidence called upon Todd Angkasuwan for the video (directors credits) and also look out for Babu who makes an appearance in the video. Kinetik – Memory Lane [Video]
Kinetik - Memory Lane
Most Hip-Hop fans will know Kinetik from the U.K Hip-Hop duo “Grand Central”, however as I announced last year, Kinetik and Mr Drastick decided to work on their solo projects. This is the first video from Kinetik for his single “Memory Lane”, which is a great tribute to Kinetik’s favourite music and hobbies growing up as a child. As Kinetik appeals to the slightly older generation on this track, younger Hip-Hop heads can still appreciate the content and style of Kinetik. A familiar name amongst Hip-Hop Kings readers is London-born New York-based Jamieson, and we have a brand new video explaining the plans for releasing his third part of the “I Came I Saw” series. Jamieson gets quotes and videos from Hip-Hop CEO Steve Rifkind, Shady Records artist Yelawolf and Wu-Tang Clan legend RZA. Jamieson explains his early history in moving to New York, his features on the first two “I Came I Saw” projects which included Skyzoo and Emilio Rojas, and Sean Price and Joell Ortiz. Look out for some more big name features for volume three, and of course major support from the largest of blogs. Calez – Intermission [Video]

Making his debut on Hip-Hop Kings is Calez with the video for his single “Intermission”. Calez has been credited with directing and editing the video himself, with the track being produced by Flosstradamus. Fans have immediately taken shine to the song, which is the first release from Calez’s forthcoming solo-debut “Kid With Raps” which will be available on 6th February 2012 via Ruby Hornet and 2 Dope Boyz. Watch out for plenty of new music and promotion in the near future from Calez, however you can listen to Calez – Intermission on the video player below.

Bobby Creekwater and Stat Quo – Alright Alright [Video]

Towards the end of 2011, Bobby Creekwater announced that he and Stat Quo were forming FUPM (Fuck You Pay Me) and the first installment of music since the turn of the year is the new video for the single “Alright Alright”. Bobby Creekwater is a heavily supported artist on Hip-Hop Kings, and the buzz of FUPM began last year and aims to continue throughout the course of 2012. The new video for “Alright Alright” also stars the very popular Kendrick Lamar, and credits go to Daniel Czernilofsky for directing the video. Blacastan was first brought to the attention of Hip-Hop Kings readers last year with a remix done by The Audible Doctor for his single “Blac Magic”. I now have the first leak from his forthcoming album “The Master Builder Part II” which features Emilio Lopez, OuterSpacec and V-Zilla for the track “Sand Storms”. The new album will be dropping on the 13th March 2012, and the two disc project will feature plenty of bonus cuts and remixes, and names being confirmed also include Celph Titled, OuterSpace, Mr Green and Reef The Lost Cauze. As Canadian Hip-Hop artist released his latest album “Handshakes and Middle Fingers” in the second half of 2010, the Joe Budden featured track “Unusual” was highlighted as one of the fans’ favourites from the album. I’m now happy to share the official video with Classified and Joe Budden displaying exactly why they are so highly regarded in the Hip-Hop world. Classified has also released a new mixtape (available from Hip-Hop Kings tomorrow) and I will be sharing the exclusive interview in the next few days that we conducted towards the end of 2012. As Hip-Hop Kings readers are aware, I interviewed Kings of the City last year during their U.K tour with Maverick Sabre, and Kings of the City exclusively performed an acapella of “Make Me Worse” alongside an interview and freestyles (link above). With support from some key tastemakers and DJ’s in the U.K Hip-Hop industry, Kings of the City are set to become household names in 2012, and Make Me Worse is a fine example of what to expect throughout the course of the year. To kick off his own 2012, Braydz has teamed up with long time friend and recording artist Kyza for their collaborative effort “Scorpion Sting”. It’s not the first time the pair have teamed up on a track, a personal favourite of mine is the track “Move” off one of my favourite U.K Hip-Hop albums (Grit Grammar – Life Music”). Braydz produced the track himself with Chemo on the boards, and fans can be delighted to hear that an official remix featuring Cyrus Malachi will be available in the forthcoming weeks as well. A line of artists have jumped on the Trae Tha Truth single “Im On It” which welcomes the artist to Hip-Hop Kings making his debut in 2012. The featured artists need no such introduction, with fans who have been lucky enough to hear the track originally the video has been eagerly awaited for the best part of a year. Using a “Return of the Mack” sample for the chrous, over 100 pages on youtube have been spent by fans comparing which artist delivered the best verse.
