A man who knew the late Micheal “Eyedea” Larsen very well is C-Rayz Walz, and the underground Hip-Hop artist has released his tribute video to Eyedea titled “Blvck Rosaries (Celebrate)”. C-Rayz Walz has collaborated with Freddie Bunz for the track, which is set to make its rounds on the Internet and across the blogosphere in the forthcoming days. Hip-Hop Kings previously teamed up with DJ Critical Hype for an un-official Eyedea tribute mixtape which has been co-signed by DJ Abilities, and we also posted a Copywrite tribute to Eyedea called “Numb”. I have a brand new promotional skit video from De La Soul’s Plug 1 and Plug 2 from their forthcoming album “First Serve” called “We Made It”. The skit is synonymous with De La Soul fans, who will be more than familiar with the likes of “The Goon Time Mixtape” and of course “”Mrs Whitter”as well. The new album “First Serve” comes from Plug 1 (Pos) and Plug 2 (Dave’s) motto “First come, first serve, get what you deserve” and will be available to buy via Duck Down Records on April 2nd 2012. After releasing previous singles “Neva Blink” and “West London” Hip-Hop artist Reveal returns with the official video for his single “Warning”. The track has been produced by Paris based Mahdyar Aghajani, and features on Reveal’s upcoming seven track E.P “Seven Shades” which is available to fans on the 7th February 2012. Reveal dedicates the track “Warning” to his father who was killed in 2003 working as a cameraman in Kurdistan. You can watch the brand new video from Reveal – Warning on the video player below.

Ras Kass Leaves Rap Group the HRSMN

Announced via his official youtube and twitter channels, Hip-Hop lyricist Ras Kass has told fans he has left the rap group “HRSMN” with immediate effect. The video posted on Ras Kass youtube page doesn’t go indepth as to the reasons, however he suggested that complications and relationships with certain people made the situation too complicated and has decided to leave the group. The HRSMN consisted of Ras Kass, Canibus, Kurupt and Killah Priest. There is no word on whether Ras Kass will be replaced by another fourth member, or any future plans from the HRSMN following his depature from the group. Ras Kass is working on his upcoming project F.I.L.A and Hip-Hop Kings will continue to post updates on the music and news. You can watch Ras Kass announcing leaving the HRSMN below.

The infamous Jedi Mind Tricks are soon to be blessing the stage in London and Manchester as part of their Violence Begets Violence tour. In London, Jedi Mind Tricks will be supported by Caxton Press and Rhyme Asylum in London on Tuesday 14th February, and DJ’s 279 and DJ Snuff and will be hosted by Mystro. On Wednesday 15th in Manchester, This Is Hip Hop and Don’t Flop present Jedi Mind Tricks, with an event that will be opened by an eight-man freestyle battle tournament.
