During the Wu-Tang Clan‘s tour of the U.K, Method Man, U-God and Masta Killa dropped into BBC Radio 1 to spit a number of freestyles for Tim Westwood on his Tim Westwood show on BBC 1xtra. The Wu-Tang trio rapped over a number of infamous instrumentals including “Yonkers” amongst others, and make the feature one of the most popular in recent times. The Wu-Tang Clan recently announced they will be releasing their forthcoming album “Legendary Weapons which has raised questions over the absence of GZA throughout the project. You can view the details of Wu-Tang Clan’s Legendary Weapons HERE – however you can watch the Wu-Tang Clan freestyle on Tim Westwood TV below.

About Wu-Tang Clan from Wikipedia.
The Wu-Tang Clan is a highly influential Hip-Hop group from New York City that consists of RZA, GZA, Method Man, Raekwon, Ghostface Killah, Inspectah Deck, U-God, Masta Killa, and the late Ol’ Dirty Bastard. They are frequently joined by fellow childhood friend Cappadonna, a quasi member of the group. They were formed in (and are associated with) the New York City borough of Staten Island (referred to by members as “Shaolin”), though some of their members are from Brooklyn and one is from The Bronx.
They have introduced and launched the careers of affiliated artists and groups, often collectively known as the Wu-Tang Killa Bees. In 2007, MTV ranked Wu-Tang the fifth greatest Hip-Hop group of all time, and in 2008, About.com ranked them the number one greatest Hip-Hop group of all time, and stated “No weapon in Hip-Hop history can rival the chaotic cohesion of the Wu-Tang Clan. The Clan had so many characters, each with his own eccentricities. They were fearless in their approach. There’s a good reason no group has been able to successfully recreate their sound. The crew spawned countless loosely associated acts. Their classic albums spawned classic albums.”

The most popular Hip-Hop group AND brand to ever surface is probably the Wu-Tang Clan. Involved and credited for so much classic material, a new compilation album through Wu Music Group is available called “Pollen – The Swarm Part 3”. With the “Rock The Bells” concert coming soon, a free track from the record has been leaked from ODB called “Dirt’s The Boogie”. An interesting observation is Y.D.B (ol dirty’s son) features on the record. You can listen to ODB – Dirt’s The Boggie on the player below.

Following on from the very famous quote by Wu-Tang Clan member ODB, “Wu Tang are for the kids”, the new Wu-Tang Massacre album has been given the same label to remind fans of one of the most loved Hip-Hop artists to grace a microphone. A quick promotional video has been used by DefJam to continue the push for sales for the album. You can view the new video from Wu Tang Clan – Wu Massacre Is For The Kids by clicking the link below.
As Hip-Hop Kings previously reported, the Wu-Tang Clan are releasing a brand new album called “Return Of The Wu” which has been mixed by DJ Mathematics. Speaking from a producer perspective, Mathematics sits down for a quick two-minute feature and explains some of the theories and ideas behind Clap 2010, and the other tracks on the album. Return Of The Wu will be available from 16th February 2010. You can watch the DJ Mathematics feature on Return Of The Wu on the player below.
As fans continue to consume anything Wu-Tang related, I have the second leak from the new “Return Of The Wu” album which is titled “Steppin 2 Me”. This track features GZA, Masta Killa and Inspectah Deck, and follows immediately after the first leak from the new album which was titled “Clap 2010“. We’ve heard from seven of the Wu-Tang members in two tracks, and it’s giving fans the appetiser ahead of the release on February 16th. You can listen to Wu-Tang Clan – Steppin 2 Me on the player below.
